What's going on?

In the event of a power failure at Union Hill Subdivision, resident Nancy Nowak (71 Lilac Lane) and Jennifer Rhude (4 Southmoor, cell number 618-319-0221), have graciously offered access for recharging devices or other important uses of their whole house generator to neighbors. This is a great example of sharing expensive but little used equipment, and of the selfless friendship in our neighborhood. Do you have some equipment you'd be willing to loan out or share? The Union Hill Block Party and Playground Equipment Fundraiser and Holi Fest were great opportunities to have fun and meet neighbors. If you have ideas for a community event or would like to help with our next one, please contact Katie Ancell (katherineancell@gmail.com) or Emmaline Shankar-Myers (Emmaline.myers@gmail.com) .

The funds were raised for the playground equipment . Please make an additional contribution to help with some remaining expenses. Contributions can be made through Venmo at Katie Ancell's account or by check to our Treasurer, Alina Becsi.

We have over 50 young folks under 15 in the neighborhood now so this equipment upgrade is greatly needed.

Work continues on the Zitter lot clean up and planning for this new UH recreation area. Contact Sylvia Drake or Dave Warner if you'd like to help.
