Bylaws & Protective Covenants
The Union Hill Subdivision is governed by its Bylaws and the Protective Covenants, designed to protect property values and the desirable environment we enjoy. Please familiarize yourself with these. Compliance helps to make your neighbors happy and keep Union Hill a nice place to live. Our covenants were reviewed by a committee and proposed amendments were circulated. These were voted on at the annual membership meeting on April 20 and have been approved. Signatures of two-thirds of those owning building sites are needed to finalize this action.
Members of the Union Hill Subdivision Home Owner's Association pay annual dues set to increase to $300 in 2023, payable by April 1. These cover the upkeep of our roads, lakes, dams, and other grounds. Generally, homeowners are compliant but sometimes people forget and require a reminder - or two. Recently several residents have fallen behind. At the January 2022 UHHOA Board meeting it was agreed that homeowners over a year in arrears will have their names posted on the website. To avoid having your name on the friendly neighborhood "Wall of Shame" please check in with the Tresurer, Alina Becsi (tymoshyna@gmail.com) and get right with the world.
